Flores

Along with Corvo and Graciosa, the island of Flores is considered a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. With an incredible untouchable beauty and full of hidden places, the island of Flores is undoubtedly a destination that you cannot miss. Forming the Western Group with Corvo and being the westernmost island of the archipelago, it delimits European territory.

Flores is pure untouched nature, from waterfalls to lagoons, the trip will not be complete until you disconnect and enjoy what surrounds you. Rocha dos Bordões, an imposing wall of thick basalt columns, is one of the most beautiful volcanic phenomena to observe and keep in your memory.

Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro is one of the best-known places on the island, accessible via a small trail, which allows you to get lost in its striking beauty, as no photograph represents what you are seeing. An abundance of flowers, crystal clear waterfalls, a verdant scenery along the way, in its greatest authenticity, wherever we look it is clear that nature is in charge.
